Violence Against Woman and Girls event at AFC Wimbledon : Sat 22 Nov 13:00

To Wimbledon Park residence, 

Today (22/11) at 1.30pm at AFC Wimbledon, Plough Lane, Police will be doing a Violence Against Woman and Girls stall outside the stadium for the beginning of White Ribbon week. The local SNT try to attend each home game and advertise the work we do regarding violence against woman and girls and also offer safety advice and a chance for the public to speak to police about this topic.

White Ribbon is a global campaign to end violence against women and girls. The campaign is usually symbolised by men wearing a white ribbon and the main day is 25th November. 

We know, as Police, how important VAWG and White Ribbon week is and we are proud to do work alongside AFC Wimbledon and other agencies to promote the importance of these issues. 

If you would like to come and say hello, even if you are not attending the game, please feel free to come and have a chat. We will be on a stall from 1.30pm to 3pm.
